It was great to be in Vienna this past week for the EuARE 2025 conference and part of the panel entitled ‘Ethical Anthropologies for the 21st Century.’
My presentation focused on the need to rearticulate the principle of subsidiarity in the current socioeconomic environment dominated by AI. This is part of current work-in-progress we’re carrying out within the European AI Research Group of the Holy See’s Dicastery for Culture and Education which focuses on the reinterpretation and application of CST Principles in the contemporary reality.
It was a pleasure to present alongside Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sigrid Mueller, Mag.a Mirijam Salfinger, and Rev. Jean Claude Attard.
